Aye... Its Diwali Time.. And it went off very quickly..
After a long dilemma and struggling-with-work days, my manager accepted me to go to home for Diwali. And there was a condition on that, i should return back to work on Saturday, meaning i can spend only 2 days (Thursday and Friday) with my family/friends for Diwali Festival.
Thoughi have booked my tickets for this festival, a month before. I was totally stopped becos of work. Finally, i went home on 10th Nov. Reached on 11th Nov morning, the people have started bursting crackers already. I thought it was a welcome-blast for me to enter the city.
This time, Diwali is very special to us. 'Cos, my niece's first Diwali. Yep, she is just 4 months old. And we were very eager to see the reaction of her on Diwali (Crackers sound...). She got used to it and no cryings from her. But we were trying to get her away from all these real loud sounds. And you can not avoid these sounds completely , 'cos the whole city was enjoying.
And as usual, sweets were served, a good south-indian meal and some non-alcoholic drinks. Any festivals, these are the common things people do here. Eat well, Watch TV and Enjoy. The same we did.
On Diwali evening, i got a call from my colleague, saying that i dont have to return to Bangalore on Saturday. Instead, i can come back on Monday. Previously, when i was asked to come back on Saturday, i have cancelled my ticket for sunday and pre-poned my trip to friday night. Now when this happy news came out, i could not get tickets for sunday night. It was full. All festival time, train and bus tickets are always full.
So i decided to come back on friday itself. And now im in bangalore, writing this.
